Application:

Specially developed for NISSAN VR38DETT engines fitted in the R35 NISSAN GT-R, this synthetic Polyol Ester based oil provides superlative thermal stability and hydrolytic stability and will maintain its properties across a wider range of harsh driving conditions, when compared to conventional synthetic lubricants. Especially suited to protect engines submitted to medium to high fuel dilution in the oil. Other applications: Racing car, Drifting car, Tuning car. Always check with engine tuner before use.

• Double Ester Technology: Type 2193E (5W-40) is a select, synthetic multi-grade oil which mixes polyol esters for maximum oil film resistance, balanced polarity and increased stability at very high temperature. NISMO Competition Oil 2193E 5W-40 was developed along with the VR38DETT engine, focused on high-performance motorsports use, like the Tokachi 24 Hours, used in the NISSAN GT-R NISMO RC and NISSAN GT-R Club Track Edition, and raced in the 24 Hours Nürburgring. The final result of all this testing was the choice of a 5W-40 over a 0W-40 viscosity grade.
• NISMO Competition Oil 2193E 5W-40 maintains the GT-Rs top performance under high load conditions while providing the engine with the extra protection needed to meet the demands of Motorsports use. This oil increases engine output through reduced usage of detergent-dispersants additives that cause friction losses in high-load conditions. Its unique base oils and friction modifiers provide High HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity together with a consistent oil film and excellent anti-coking performance for improved lubrication and cleanliness of turbine bearings.

• Formulated for low friction, supercharged, high horse power & high torque engines set to race circuit specs such as the VR38DETT, this oil contains Polyolester, proven for its superlative performance at low temperatures, and will maintain its stability and filming properties across a wider range of driving conditions.

• Having taken the NISSAN NISMO GT-R RC's newest engine from early tuning through to ultimate solutions, we are convinced that using a Polyolester mix is the only way to completely protect and fulfill its performance potential. The inclusion of Polyolester expands the operative range of the base oil's functional properties and fully supports the engine's low friction mechanic.
• Just like 2108E Competition Oil, this oil increases engine output through reduced usage of the detergent-dispersants that have been shown to cause friction loss in high-load conditions as well as suppresses the formation of sludge that is a common cause of friction loss in engines running with superchargers.

Recommendations:

NISMO COMPETITION OIL lubricants were developed for high performance and aggressive driving. The Type 2193E (5W-40) motor oil is officially recognized as being in conformity with NISSAN warranties only when used in NISSAN GT-R (R35).

NISMO recommends changing oil every ~ 1850 miles (3,000 km) under harsh driving conditions.

NISMO recommends changing oil every ~ 6000 miles (10,000 km) of normal road use.
